Nokia 8.3 vs Nokia X20

Android 12 is almost available on all eligible Nokia smartphones and it is now time for Nokia Mobile to start bringing the next major OS upgrade to its portfolio. Since Jho Sarvikas left the company, Android OS Roadmap hasn’t been published, so the arrival of the following OS versions was pretty much unknown.

Nokia phones running Android 13 popped up on Geekbench, and now it seems that the official update has finally been released. The first devices to get it is Nokia X20 and Nokia X10. Updates for these phones are now available in Finland, and probably in some other markets.

The build that brings Android 13 is V3.360, which is 2.26 GB in size. Included in the build is the November security patch.

I have checked the G60 and X30 but the update is not available for those models yet, or just not for the phones I’m using at home…

Thanks to all who tipped. Check your X series devices and get Android 13. Do report back if it is available and how the phone runs.

If you can’t wait for the update to come through the official OTA way, there are some tips on how to sideload it, but I do not recommend doing that since there is always a great chance of bricking the device. The risk is your own and bear that in mind. The link for the sideload is here.
